Ok. Lets just start by saying I have no pictures of Natalyn to post today-sorry grandparents!!!
Let me get back to how "wonderful" our day started. You know your having a great day when you get your child up (Natalyn=cranky pants magee) in the morning and it takes her about 45 minutes to eat her cereal and then when she has eaten all the cereal she pours the remaining milk in her lap, which then requires a bath (bath #1 of the morning). After which I get Natalyn dressed and we are about to leave for the gym because I really DO want to get my Zumba class that starts at 9:30. Natalyn is doing a great job with potty training right now, so I hurry her into the bathroom before we leave only to find (after I have pulled the pull-up down of course) that literally poop exploded out of the pull-up. It was up the back, down the legs, you get the picture. This leads us to the bathtub again (bath #2). Natalyn was really upset and was crying because she pooped on Cinderella (which is the character on her pull-ups). We do finally manage to get out the door 45 minutes later!!!NO ZUMBA TODAY!!!
We were not planning to be home this week. Scott, Natalyn and I were planning to take a mini-vacation this week to Branson and OKC. It started on Saturday, Scott's side of the family had a family reunion and to fund the food for the following year they have an auction. Scott's dad was the model for the items that were being sold. Half way through the auction, the item up was a small (I am talking kid sized to pull stuffed animals in) red metal wagon. Pat (Scott's dad) put the wagon on the ground and Natalyn walked right up and put her doll in the wagon and immediately started to pull it around. Pat joked saying it looks like he will be bidding on this as well. Apparently, a lot of family members decided to talk advantage of this and kept bidding against Pat and $25 later, Pat won the wagon for Natalyn. The wagon is probably only about $4.99 at Wal-mart. But Natalyn loves it and has played with it everyday. I told her that she will have to play with it everyday for the next 5 years!!!
We went to Branson on Sunday and had just finished eating supper when we received a call that Scott's grandmother had just suffered a mini stroke/seizure. So we left early Monday morning from Branson and headed to Miami. Please be in prayer for Ermalene (Scott's grandmother) and the family as it looks like she may not live much longer.
Ok. As I am typing this, I am looking over at Natalyn who is on the couch with a piece of paper and an ink pen. She has ditched the paper and is working on some pretty impressive body art on her legs, looks like we will have another bath (that will be bath #3)before nap!!!
