Bye, Bye Crib!!

HERE'S ONE LAST LOOK AT NATALYN'S CRIB! WE WERE FORCED TO MOVE HER INTO HER TODDLER BED LAST NIGHT BECAUSE.........

WELL......JUST SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!!

NOW SCOTT AND I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT NATALYN FALLING ON HER HEAD WHILE TRYING TO CLIMB OUT OF HER CRIB. BUT LIFE WITHOUT A CRIB IS GOING TO LEAD TO A WHOLE NEW SET OF ISSUES, SUCH AS NATALYN ROAMING THE HOUSE DURING THE NIGHT!!YIKES!!!!

NATALYN WAS SUPER EXCITED TO GET A "BIG GIRL BED."

LUCKILY, SHE STAYED IN HER BED ALL NIGHT.

It was just soooooo hot that I think we were all just about to sweat to death. The kiddos played in the water just to keep cool. I think that I am already looking forward to fall!!!

While Scott worked on the stage for Celebrate America in the "cool" 101 degree heat. I decided to scrub the guttering and all the siding that I could reach with a ladder on the house. I think that Natalyn was the only smart one, she stayed in the air conditioning to make play-dough cookies! YUM-O!

I made this outfit for Natalyn Saturday night to wear to church on Sunday. Hopefully the seams will hold through July 4th!!!!

Sunday Night our church sponsored an event called Celebrate America on the Bentonville Square. It was a great way to give thanks to God for those that risk their lives for our freedom.

SPLASH PARK

Natalyn spent the morning at the Splash Park in Rogers. She seemed to enjoy playing around the edges of the sprinklers and not get too wet. I don't think she wanted to get her hair messed up!! And, of course, she had to wear her shades!!!heheh

Father's Day Weekend

This past weekend was really fun and we got to visit with all of our family. Natalyn got to experience several firsts and was quite the entertainer for all her papa's/grandpa. We all had a wonderful time!!! (above: Natalyn and daddy flying her first kite.)

Natalyn went fishing with Papa Sill for the first time! This is her first fish she caught. She was not sure what to think about the fish when it came out of the water, but did eventually touch the fish. She caught four fish total!!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Father's Day holds an extra special memory in our household. At 2 AM on Father's Day 2006 I was in the emergency room thinking that I had a kidney stone but found out instead that I was pregnant. We were more terrified by the news than excited since I had already had two miscarriages prior, but God blessed us with a healthy baby girl the following February. Natalyn sooooo loves her daddy. Her favorite thing is to cuddle with daddy and watch movies. Natalyn and I appreciate all the hard work Scott does as the head of our household. He works very hard so that I am able to stay at home and raise Natalyn and I am grateful for that. We love you!!!!

Natalyn spent the morning at David Peel Park and had a lot of fun. It worked out that our church had the summer day-care kids there at the same time, so Natalyn had lots of friends to play with. Her best friend of the day was MUD!!!

Ok, I promise that I will update my blog atleast once a week. The weather has been so nice that I have not been on the computer much. Here is what has been going on at the SILLy residence in the past few weeks. We hope everyone is having a great summer so far!!!!

We spent Memorial weekend with Scott's family. Scott and I helped get the pool area ready for the summer and Natalyn worked on getting spoiled just a little more!
