OU/TX WEEKEND!!!

Last Tuesday, we left NWA early to make it to the Saturday game!!

We went to the zoo, the American Girl store (which I forgot my camera-urg!) and went shopping and out to eat and shopping and out to eat and shopping,etc.... you get the point!

Below is Natalyn getting ready to go to the Fort Worth Zoo, doesn't she look just like a big girl!?! Natalyn insisted Nemo head to the Zoo as well. Maybe to see his fellow fishy friends!!!

Here are some of the animals Natalyn enjoyed seeing. This lion was huge and when he would roar, you could hear him throughout the entire zoo. Talk about being the King of the Jungle!!

When I first looked at this hippo, I really thought it was fake, because it is massive!!

Natalyn enjoyed a snack next to the penguin tank. You can kind-of see one penguin next to her in this photo. She thought these penguins were really silly!!

On Friday, we went to the American Girl store at the Galleria. I so wished I would have remembered my camera!! Natalyn loved it!!! She found a single stroller and filled it up with toys off the displays. Then she found a double stroller and transferred her treasures from the single stroller to the double stroller and went on the search again for more goodies. After we left some poor employee got to spend a few hours figuring out where everything goes!!! Natalyn did not want a doll, she only wanted a cake party set for the dolls. She loves to have cake parties!!!

Did I mention we went shopping?!?! Yes, Natalyn came back with not one, not two, but six pairs of shoes and ok....a few outfits as well!!!! A girl's got to look good!!!hehe

BRANSON WEEKEND

WEEKEND IN BRANSON!!!

Saturday morning we got up early and headed to Silver Dollar City!! Natalyn was very excited to be able to ride several rides (she is finally tall enough!) Her favorite ride was the tea cups! Afterward I took her on a kid-sized roller coaster, here is a direct quote from Natalyn "I don't like it!!!!" We could not even get her on the train after that!!!

We also went shopping and then headed to Branson Landing for popcorn from the Big Popper!! Natalyn had to sample just about every kind of flavor offered before deciding to take a sack of caramel corn with her for the ride home!

We had a great time!!!!

I LOVE TO COOK!!

Last week I discovered that if I let Natalyn cook at the same time I am making supper, she stays occupied and HAPPY!! Friday, she decided to make alligator soup (I have no idea where she came up with that!) and popcorn.

Also on Friday, we took cousin Mackenzie "Kenzie Kay" flowers at school. Natalyn thought it was very cool to be in a "big kid school!" Mackenzie looked so cute and grown up, it's hard to believe she is 13!!!!!! I can't believe that I forgot my camera!!! Afterward, Natalyn and I stopped off at the city park in Farmington to play for awhile. Natalyn kept calling the park "Kenzie Kay Park!!" Natalyn sure loves her "Kenzie Kay!"

PUMPKIN, OH I MEAN PUNKIN PATCH!!

"PUNKIN TIME"

Today our playgroup met at a pumpkin patch in Centerton. A family that are members of our church own it. This was our (as in Natalyn and myself) first visit and it was a lot of fun. I made sack lunches for everyone and kept my fingers crossed that the rain would hold off until after 1pm!!!! It was very windy, but the kiddos didn't care. Natalyn enjoyed picking out her own pumpkins, running through a maze and sitting on a tractor!!

DOESN'T EVERYONE LIKE CHANGE!?!?

Ok. I personally HATE change, but I thought I would change the background of my blog in support of those SOONERS!!! We are getting excited in the ol' Sill household to head to Dallas in a couple of weeks for Red River Rivalry!!! We always have alot of fun!! I really have no idea why I feel the need to post the reason why I changed my background, maybe I have a complex or something---NO COMMENTS!!!!

Saturday, we went shopping and Natalyn got her first pair of "big girl panties!!"

She picked out Minnie Mouse and Daisy panties. Here is Natalyn posing, she is so proud of them!!!I wish I could say that we have had no accidents yet, but she did have her first accident in her panties about half an hour ago. She came running to me saying "I got wet, what happened?" I tried to explain to her that she HAS to go on the potty only. I was really hoping that her first accident would really gross her out, but it didn't. Looks like I will be having the carpets cleaned several times in the next 6 months-ish!!!

I bought this scooter from a friend's garage sale on Friday. I just took the old stickers off and cleaned it up. Natalyn has played on this outside for the past 3 days!!!

MAIL FROM GRANDPA!!!

Natalyn got a special surprise today when the mail came. She was so happy to learn that this box was for her! She wanted to open it immediately!!!

Natalyn LOVES to get things in the mail!!! She was very excited to get her very own Halloween decorations!!!

PUMPKINS, oops, I mean "PUNKINS" are Natalyn's very favorite right now. She has been playing with this thing since she got it out of the box.
